Tortoise or turtle wanted for film Nov-Dec12
My organisation, Community Waitakere Charitable Trust, is making a short film about stream restoration- but in a fun way using comedy including a tortoise (or a snake-neck turtle if we can't get a tortoise). Any species of tortoise is fine- except a Galapagos!
We would like to borrow the tortoise from somebody for about half a day of filming sometime between the 26th Nov -5th Dec 12 in Waitakere City, Auckland. The tortoise would only need to sit in a container and be held gently by an actor. We are happy to give a donation to the tortoise owner for their time. Hope to hear from someone soon |

RE: Tortoise or turtle wanted for film Nov-Dec12
Why do you need a tortoise for a film about stream restoration? Tortoises have nothing to do with streams whatsoever.
Are you sure you don't mean a turtle? Keep in mind that turtles are on par with Koi or Gambusa in terms of things you don't want in a New Zealand stream. Have you thought about using a native species instead? |
